![]() I have long since given up hope that Need for Speed would even so much as plot a return to form, and everyone I know has either moved on to more realistic racers – or has stuck with Forza for their driving fix. ![]() I find it hard to believe that anyone could say they were truly looking forward to Unbound, beyond the general excitement one might have for a new major release. ![]() Months after leaks and rumours told us a lot of what EA wasn’t interested in sharing itself, and Need for Speed Unbound was revealed, with all excitement reserved for racing games that aren’t Forza. Initially revealed in the summer of 2020 with a shot of two cars, said game would not get an official title until October of this year. Being able to drift in Need For Speed: Unbound allows players to grind some fun along with the competitiveness of the racing game.I never imagined I would be writing this when everyone first got word of a new Need for Speed game in development. However, due to its fluidity and ease of execution by most players, the drift brake is the option for drifting that is most practical. It will take some practice to get used to skidding. Fast turning is not a given in this situation therefore, if players drive quickly through a corner, this alternative can be quite helpful. The fastest option is to start a skid, which occurs by using the handbrake. Because of the minimal drift, players can maintain their lead or make up lost ground if they fall behind. This results in more control and a less speed drop when turning a curve. To drift around a bend, all players have to do is tap the throttle. Players can also drift by applying the throttle in the newly released Need For Speed: Unbound. As a result, if players wish to keep the momentum, it is wise not to brake for an extended period. Drivers will, however, lose some momentum. Players can simply skid by braking, making it an excellent way to drift for beginners. ![]() The simplest way to conduct a skid is to drift brake. ![]()
